Let's here your ideas on fixing Israel and Palestine.

GlitterEater · 36-40, F
Dissolve the state of Israel and replace it with a secular government.
@AthrillatheHunt There is only one majority Jewish country. That nation has a Jewish symbol on its flag.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays which country has a circumcised penis on its flag ? Lol
@AthrillatheHunt dozens of Muslims nations have a circumcised penis on their flags. 🤣

1. End the apartheid supporters and supremacists. Why? Because you cannot make progress with people who do not believe in peace and justice
2. Any invaders must PAY. They have to pay for their land. They have to pay for their demolition and invasion. Immigration has to happen legally. If they can't stand Palestine, they can all return back home to Poland, New York, anywhere white and nice like they want. Like this guy:

He's got a house in New York. He moved from New York. Common sense says tell him to go home to New York and stop stealing her house 🤷🏾‍♂️
3. Cut the lies. If there is one thing convoluting this whole issue, it's that people like to pretend like it's hard for these colonizers to drop their guns and stop killing Palestinians. Or to have Palestinians walking around freely and living in their houses while these people (if they CAN'T leave) buy and build their own places under Palestinian authority. The supremacists shenanigans has to stop. The demonization and lies has to stop. We're actual people with brains. Humans. This could just work if the bs stops
@cerealguy We're actual people with brains. Humans. Seriously?

cerealguy · 26-30, M
@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays yes. This fear mongering is not effective or meaningful.

It doesn't defeat or change the point and necessary solutions. You also have a couple of things you need to answer before anyone can take that seriously.

1. Do you think we will fail to find horror stories from Israeli barbarians raping Palestinian women like they have for ages? Slaughtering? Mutilating? You name it. Are you suggesting that suddenly brains have been lost on the side of those invading Palestinians? Are you insinuating that the Israelis are now brainless and incapable of rational thought to solutions due to them having savages in their ranks? Or is this a racist discrimination and dehumanization on Palestinian Arabs only? I hope you see this faulty door you opened by raising such a point

2. What's the strength of such accusations when many claims like that have been proven to be lies? How do you know with evidence that this is true? Because there was a grear scandalous lie about 40 babies being beheaded. Did/do you believe in that?
Or how about the calendar that they tried to call a Hamas schedule? Credibility is lost and iffy at best and jow needs to be rigorously fact checked because of abusive lies and deception.
Moon3624 · 18-21, F
What Palestine?

Are you referring to the West Bank which is illegally occupied by Israel and with illegal UN condemned Israeli settlements which are only expanding ? Palestinians who need literally permits from Israel for everything ?and need to go through humiliating checkpoints that take forever to move around even just to go to pray in Jerusalem in their own land ?a place where safe the children and amnesty regularly report the news of another Palestinian child killed due to Israeli fire ? Or detained without conviction or interrogated without an adult ?

Or Gaza who most of its people are actually refugees who were forced out of many villages and towns which today are part of “Israel” and into it .
The same Gaza which has been referred to as an open air prison before 7th of October ?

I mean not even the fishermen in Gaza could fish in their own waters in peace 😂

That question is misleading as it implies

Let’s start with the Israeli government giving back what is owed to the Palestine people and surrounder to Hamas because Hamas won’t stop killing innocent people unless the Israeli government pays up. That’s why they’re mad in the first place.
@TurtleEclipseOfTheHeart That's why they're mad in the firstplace? Seriously?

Here's a list of Arab terrorist attacks against Jews before Israel occupied Arab land.
Border conflict, 1951-1956
February 1951 - Jamil Muhammad Mujarrab, a member of a Jordanian armed group, raped and murdered an Israeli girl in Jerusalem's Katamon neighborhood.[3]
Jan 1, 1952 - Seven gunmen attacked and killed a nineteen-year-old girl in her home, in the neighborhood of Beit Yisrael, in Jerusalem. On investigation, the Mixed Armistice Commission found that the case against Jordanian infiltrators could not be substantiated.
December 31, 1951/ Jan 1 1952 - a rape-murder occurred. The MAC investigating officer, Major Loreaux, reported that the body of the girl, Leah Feistinger,[4] had been found hidden in a cave about a mile from the Jordan border, the girl had been raped, murdered, and her face had been mutilated. While it was believed by Israeli police that this atrocity had been committed by Jordanians, they did not find evidence of an infiltration. The case had not been discussed by the Commission. Major Loreaux expressed the opinion that the Israeli police would have a better chance of finding the killer than the Arabs would.[5] A “reprisal raid” carried out at Beit Jalla on January 6, 1952 was attributed to Israelis.
Apr 14, 1953 - Infiltrators tried for the first time to infiltrate Israel by sea, but were unsuccessful. One of the boats was intercepted and the other boat escaped.

This occurred a day after Israel and Jordan signed an agreement, with UN mediation, in which Jordan undertook to prevent terrorists from crossing into Israel from Jordanian territory.
June 10, 1953 - Attackers infiltrating from Jordan destroyed a house in the farming village of Mishmar Ayalon.
June 11, 1953 - Gunmen attacked a young couple in their home in Kfar Hess, and shot them to death.
Sept 2, 1953 - Attackers infiltrated from Jordan, and reached the neighborhood of Katamon, in the heart of Jerusalem. They threw hand grenades in all directions. No one was hurt.

Scorpions Pass Massacre
Mar 17, 1954 - Scorpion Pass Massacre - Bandits ambushed a bus traveling from Eilat to Tel Aviv, and opened fire at short range when the bus reached the area of Ma'ale Akrabim (Scorpion Pass) in the northern Negev. In the initial ambush, the bandits killed the driver and wounded most of the passengers. The bandits then boarded the bus, and shot some of the passengers, one by one. Eleven passengers were murdered. Survivors recounted how the murderers spat on the bodies and abused them. The massacre was apparently a reprisal raid conducted by members of a Bedouin tribe expelled from the al-Auja region of the Sinai three and a half years earlier.[6][7][8]
Jan 2, 1955 - Gunmen attacked and killed 2 hikers in the Judean Desert.
Mar 24, 1955 - Gunmen threw hand grenades and opened fire on a crowd at a wedding in the farming community of Patish, in the Negev. A young woman was killed, and eighteen people were wounded in the attack.

It won't ever be fixed until and unless both sides want peace. That won't happen until and unless Israel recognizes it has, and is stealing land from the resident population. And also that military action will not work. If you want peace with the Palestinians you have to offer them a better future. You won't persuade the fanatics of Hamas, same as you won't persuade the fanatic Zionist settlers. Both have to be sidelined, to be cut off from the vast majority of the Palestinian and Israeli people who just want peace. And the same goes for the Settlers. Currently, as the superpower in the region its up to Israel to make the first move, by giving up land, but I fear that's just not hoing to happen.
@22Michelle The problem also is made worse by the fact that over half the population of Gaza Strip is fifteen and under. What they are witnessing is going to affect them for the rest of their lives.

I do not understand why the Islamic world has not distanced itself from the monstrous gang rape killings of October 7th. This is one of the worst atrocities ever seen on this Earth.

I can see Israel’s need to flush out Hamas. But in doing so they may have created something far worse.

Going back to the 1948 borders is the legitimate solution, but that is not going to happen either.

People of vision are needed. They are there, but in short supply. Qatar, Turkey and some USA diplomats have that vision, probably others too.

My own UK government seems devoid of care and compassion. And should keep well away from it.
22Michelle · 61-69, T
@sunriselover and those under 15 in Gaza are now likely to grow up supporting Hamas or an even more extreme group.israel will ptobably win this battle, buf it is losing the war.
@22Michelle My thoughts exactly.
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
Israel needs to kill more Hamas members
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@cerealguy
Can you be more specific?
cerealguy · 26-30, M
@HoraceGreenley what is not specific?
22Michelle · 61-69, T
@HoraceGreenley so are you returning the USA to the people who lived there thousands of years ago? When and where are you moving to?
Fixing it? 🤣
There's no crying in baseball, either.
@Moon3624 Israel will destroy Hamas. Happy Thanksgiving.

@BizSuitStacy awww I’m glad you agreed that Palestinians are in the same position as how South Africans and Algerians were
At least you don’t deny that

Secular government
WhateverWorks · 36-40
@sunriselover No, of course not. None of these suggestions are going to happen lol..
Moon3624 · 18-21, F
@WhateverWorks
how is the secular government of USA doing ?

Last time I checked , secular USA
Loves and supports Israel’s colonial project .every year they send them billions.

Last time I checked, secular USA supported the South African apartheid and referred to Nelson Mandela as a terrorist .

Last time I checked , secular USA invaded Iraq for no reason over a lie
Killed one million civilians
And
Did unspeakable horrors in their land

And so on..

Why is it hard to state “the problem is you violently stealing a land from people then getting shocked when they don’t like it “

You definitely will not fix anything if you do not identify the real problem.
WhateverWorks · 36-40
@Moon3624 we don’t have a secular government. What I will say is in my opinion

“Why is it hard to state “the problem is you violently stealing a land from people then getting shocked when they don’t like it “

Won’t be acknowledged when governments can hide behind ‘god’s will’ to justify their actions
Puppycat23 · F
defunding Hamas and other islamic terrorists in Gaza and the West Bank would be a start, since they target any Palestinians that protest against them. Destroy the ideology so Palestinians can finally have democratic elections. Both sides should then work on a state solution that works for everyone instead of pushing one or the other out.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
Palestinians should listen to Israel when it offers them statehood and reject barriers to their statehood .
Moon3624 · 18-21, F
@AthrillatheHunt

1/ Palestinians dont have to listen to occupiers and land thieves

2/the deals were rigged anyone who does 1% of research knows that

3/ Israel does not want two state
That’s a horrid lie and they will do anything to not make it happen
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Moon3624 lots of people are mad they didn’t join the winning team in 1948 when given the chance .
Force all the Muslims in Palestine to convert to the Jewish religion. 🤣

@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays Israel doesn’t respect Palestinian Jews.

sally1981 · 41-45, F
No fixing of a long term problem.
USA should destroy both Countries with nuclear bombs.
The rest of the World could not care less about Palestine and Israel.
@sally1981 Your analogy of a nuclear solution is a good one. Remove both from the face if the Earth and the problem goes away.

But what you forget is that the radioactive dust from nuclear blasts goes anywhere, and difficult to predict.

And that is the crux of the issue. The contemptible behaviour of Hamas and the reaction of Israel cannot be contained in a small area of the Earth. There are extreme Islamists everywhere, alone and in their Islamic communities through the world. The world may look on, but it will be dragged into it whether it likes it or not.
Bumbles · 51-55, M
I'd give all of the West Bank back to the PA minus most of the settlements with significant autonomy for the Palestinians.
@Bumbles I would demolish the West Bank settlements and force the settlers to resettle in Israel. That would be a start. Those settlers have no right to West Bank settlements.
