Do you agree with my opinion on U S. currency.

My personal belief is that having your likness put on U.S paper or coin currency is a privilege that should be reserved ONLY for U.S Presidents or the Founding Fathers of the nation.Im well aware that there are scores of the countries heroes,innovators,and great men and women who dont belong to that club who well deserve to be immortalized;as far as Im concerned,the proper way to do that is through other methods such as postage stamps and collector's coins.Am I right?

No.

A country is not its leader, it’s the people.

And if those people do great things, they’re worth it being on money.

@WintaTheAngle like who?
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
@MasterLee Innovators, pioneers, sportsmen, artists, scientists. Anyone that makes that country what it is.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@WintaTheAngle such as?
Eternity · 26-30, M
Naw. Fuck the presidents. We put too much of a premium on people who are supposed to serve us. Somehow shit got flipped and now we're supposed to bow down and kiss their asses apparently
Lackwittyname · 51-55, M
I do not agree, actually some of those Presidents on currency are some horrible people
DavidT8899 · 22-25, M
@MasterLee I see him on a $10.00 bill.James K. Polk would work well on a $2.00.Theodore Roosevelt would be good for the $50.00 bill;Franklin Roosevelt for the $100.00
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@DavidT8899 nah leave ben on the 100
DavidT8899 · 22-25, M
@MasterLee Although Ben is my favorite of all the Founding Fathers,the only Presidents whos postion on the currency should be inviolable are Washington and Lincoln,for what I hope are obvious reasons.
KingofPizza2 · 36-40, M
I mean literally anyone would be a better choice for the $20 than Andrew Jackson
DavidT8899 · 22-25, M
@KingofPizza2 I disagree in the sense that I dont think he is a BAD choice per se;I think John F. Kennedy would have been more iconic.

@DavidT8899

Agreed. I wouldn't mind seeing JFK on one of these...

DavidT8899 · 22-25, M
@Budwick And Pulitzer Prizes for reporting on made-up stories.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@DavidT8899 I forgot about that!
MasterLee · 56-60, M
You are right
Justme22 · M
Nope. You are not right.
REMsleep · 41-45, F
No,
The country is the people and oftentimes the impact that a particular citizen is greater than most of the presidents.
Its great to honor our leaders and heros with their face on our currency if they did something to impact America.
Fukfacewillie · 56-60, M
So long as it’s not you, I’m fine.
DavidT8899 · 22-25, M
