In the UK we get sent pie charts with our local property and income tax statements showing how expenditure is broken down. These consistently show spending on immigration and working age benefits as comparatively tiny amounts and are meant to resolve divisive debates which scapegoat migrants and the unemployed. They don't seem to work 🤦♀

Politicians should not be in charge of the money.
Instead they should submit request forms, labelling every detail to a group of 60 year old mothers who raised 4+ kids on a single income for it. (Either Lebanese or Asian women, those ladies can make a $1 seem like a hundred)

We should have a semi detailed breakdown of where our tax money goes.
@AthrillatheHunt I have no problem with money going to Israel, Mossad has given us massive intelligence that caught a lot of domestic terrorists, including the kid that tried car bombing the 2009 tree lighting ceremony in DownTown Portland, Oregon, he was intercepted by undercover feds and given dud explosives, then arrested. Several of my family and friends were at that ceremony.
