Have you ever used the postal vote option?

Our lives are so busy now, and the options offered to get people to part-take in the civic duty of elections, has broadened from what is traditionally called 'the postal vote'. Have you ever used this voting option?

@HumanEarth Did you really think your political philosophy through so badly that it could be destroyed in 5 seconds?? Or are you concealing your real agenda???

No, I can't get a postal vote because I cba to take a photo of my signature and upload it to the website for comparison reasons.

Why do they need your signature if the voting process is supposed to be anonymous anyway??? 🤔🤔🤔

Yes, the past several years. The system is pretty good here -- we get e-mail updates every step of the way, confirming reception of the ballot, processing, verification, and final notice of the ballot's counting.

If I couldn't vote with a mail-in ballot I wouldn't bother voting. Standing in line for hours is a waste of time.

Yes I was going to be in the USA at time of the election so did postal vote.

In Britain the default method is in person at your local polling-station, but postal and proxy voting is offered for those unable to use that.

The polling-stations open from 7am to 10pm on the election day, to give as many people as possible the chance to vote.

We don't have specific election buildings of course. The administrators book church or community halls for the day.
I always do. For the last few elections our polling place has moved, but the post office is still within walking distance. So as soon as I get my ballot I complete and post it in person.
I have several times

. . . in different elections

Sure do, I've done it for the last several votes.

Have voted via mail in the last few elections.

Am in Texas.

Hate vote by mail? Suggest you visit the red state of Utah govt website. They fully support vote by mail and voter registration. This should be the gold standard for national vote by mail.

I did it once a few years ago, when I knew I would be out of state on the day of a primary election.

And I did it in college, because my legal residence at the time was my parents' house, in a different state .

We postal vote.

I have not, I've always voted in person so far. I know people IRL who have though.

No and I never will. Mail in voting openes up the options for cheating way to much. I personally don't think it should be allowed.
