Did you know you can clean blankets, duvets, woolens and such in snow ?

The Inuit do it.

I just goggled it. It actually works !

Never did this but I do take my duvet out when it's -20C. It refreshens everything nicely!

Yeah. I’ve done it with oriental rugs… You just toss it in the snow, face down, and beat it with a whisk broom.

You’d be amazed how dirty the snow will be when you lift up your rug.
@Adogslife wow.
So it REALLY does work?

That's so cool.

I never once considered that snow could do this

@OogieBoogie It does. It won’t look brand new, but it’ll be a lot cleaner and a bit brighter too.
Lol……. I can also clean my tushie in snow but my tushie prefers warmth. 🍑 🥶
@OlderSometimesWiser 😅
Ur braver than me !
@OogieBoogie Not brave, my tushie stays indoors. 🙂

Now, if I only had some snow... It did try once, in August 1965...

I'm not flying to the north pole just to clean the bed linen😡
I just watched this in a war movie.. gets rid of lice too 🤓
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Amazing eh.
I was looking up how to clean a down doona, and this popped up.

Sounds better than a washing machine -
- kills lotsa little buggies
- refreshes
- deodorizes
- chemical free
- and floofs up wool and down fibers.

I wonder if there's any way to invent the 'snow clothes dryer'?🤔
Only use white snow though, not the yellow kind.
