Now it is infested with giant Rats, (Quokkas)
The name given by Dutch Explorer De Vlamingh when he saw "a kind of rat as big as a common cat"
Rotte Nest, meaning Rats Nest

"De Vlamingh" sounds really Dutch now a days 🤣
Apperently his roots lie in Amsterdam. I was looking it up, because if found it confusing.
