I'm unemployed but I was a assistant teacher for second grade, and a nanny as well.
(Plus a few retail positions before those in my early 20s. )

I retired from State Government and now I work on contract for the Prison system as a Behavioral Specialist / Case Analyst.
@MayorOfCrushtown Oh that would be awful. I wouldn't either.
@MayorOfCrushtown You must be super fit and muscle bound to handle that job. That's rough. How do you feel at the end of the day? How do you unwind at the end of the day?

@LadyGrace it’s not that bad now, mostly what I do now are custody classifications. It’s pretty chill.

What's the notary deal...I have no idea but my father called one out to our place to stamp something.
@FloorGenAdm A notary public acts as an impartial witness to deter fraud by verifying the identity of people signing important documents and confirming their willingness to sign. Their duties includewitnessing signatures, verifying identification, administering oaths, and authenticating the contents of a document, to ensure it is signed willingly and without duress. The notary then affixes their signature and official seal to the document. People also go there to get title and license for their cars, trucks, motorcycle or boats, get a documentation to move farm machinery from one place to another, things like that...working for the Secretary of State.

@LadyGrace I never got astronauts' autographs since they are part of everyday life around here, plus some of my staff worked with them. I don't have any photos, but most of my experience was in meetings or at a computer. I did get to use the simulator to dock the Shuttle Orbiter with the International Space Station. I don't recall discussing UFOs or aliens with anyone in the space program.

That's a meaningful job and I'm sure you've helped a lot of people, which in turn makes you feel good. Very good!
