Is it ok to have the house in a small bit of a mess?

I do my own house work but I find myself with having an empty beer bottle on the coffee table or a takeaway menu left on the dinning room table.
I guess I like my place feeling like it is lived in.

Clutter often stems from nesting habits and creating a secure-feeling environment, so I don't think you're wrong.

@SnailTeeth a bit out of subject but I like how you articulate stuff..

@being Thank you. I'm always trying to work at it.

This is your way of making a pass at all the ladies here, isn’t it?

A little bit now and then is okay. It's a matter of preference in the end of the day. I like my home clean:) a little bit lived it's only natural but the days where the beers were laying on the floor and the clothes and the plates and the books and and and, those days I'm not missing , not anymore...

No big deal. I like a zero-clutter house myself, but when you live with a messy man and his 10 yr old kid, that's impossible. Lol

Homes are meant to be lived in and not look like a studio set up for a magazine shoot for Ikea or something.

A little clutter is normal.

As long as you don't mind the smell or the bugs that might show up it's your house.
