Goose is delicious . . it will be worth it 馃槉 Use some of the fat for roasting the potatoes.

Not that many farms in this country produce them commercially. I bought a frozen one from Hungary at Lidl for 拢25. We will have it on New Years Day at my mother's.

Cock-ups galore with supplies and costs and nothing seems to be working properly.
So I just said let's have what we want and enjoy it this Christmas.
My Mother will just love it.
Reminds her of her youth, goose at Christmas.

@iamonfire696 A lot of retailers are saying the months leading up to winter saw huge rises in gas/electricity/feed and fuel pricing which is why prices this Christmas are over the top.
No comfort for pensioners or those on limited incomes though.
