Are you excited for Christmas?

Are you at excited that it’s almost over?
Lilymoon · F
YES, end to the endless traffic and rude people.
I'm excited/happy all year round, having Jesus as my Savior, and that's what this season is all about. Redemption from sin and death. God's redeeming grace and forgiveness.

Not especially. I'm usually glad when January 2nd rolls around and all the exaggerated over blown hoop lah is over.

We celebrated it this past Sunday since several had jobs that were going to interfere with getting together on the actual day. And let me tell ya, the sheer awesomeness of it already being in the books…it’s up there.

Am I excited for Christmas? No, not at all.
Am I excited that it's almost over? Yes, absolutely.
@IM5688 We can be excited about Jesus as Savior.

@LadyGrace Yes, we can be excited about Jesus our Lord and Savior, but we can do that without being part of the Roman pagan holiday disguised as Christmas. Jesus was not born in December and no where is it written that we should celebrate the birth of Christ.
We celebrate His birth at Christmas. We celebrate his death and resurrection at Easter, (another pagan festival.) No where does Christ or God state that we should celebrate these things. Are we excited and/or happy that Christ came, shed His blood for the forgiveness of our sins, offered us eternal life, and rose from the dead and ascended to Heaven? Of course we are, but celebrating these holidays is not necessary. Besides, all of these holidays has become much to commercialized. Most people are concerned with what they are giving and getting and totally ignore what is supposed to be the true meaning.
@IM5688 This is what I feel about Christmas.

Can't wait for the end of this ******** period, up until past Jan 1st and into the middle of the week. No disrespect to Christians but what goes on doesn't seem to have much to do with Christianity. More like an excuse to booze, laze around getting fatter with everything shut so you can't even escape away from the excess of bickering family members at home 😔

There's 8 of us in my house; two being our kid's significant others, this Christmas! They're here now! And there's tons of prezzies under the Christmas tree! We will be having a supper at our house, a supper at my aunties house Christmas eve, and a supper at my uncles house Christmas day! It will be grand!
I love Christmas. I have a long list of Bondage Toys I hope Santa will bring me.
Santa should because these gifts will help please a lot of people all year long.
I could please Santa also. It’s a win for all.
