@Miklee02 First, I was not invited. My son's wife is fixing Christmas dinner for her own family. My son told me that it would be dangerous for me to be there because his new adopted dog jumps up on people, and he is afraid the dog would knock me down. 🙄 I suppose, as excuses to exclude me go, it is marginally believable. Mostly his wife just doesn't want me there.

Secondly, I was supposed to see my son for lunch today, but I've managed to crack the roots of my tooth underneath the crown, and there is no way I can chew or go out for lunch. I'm still in pain despite a friend who knew how much ibuprofen I should take, and I would probably cry or ruin lunch in some way, shape or form. In fact, I cancelled ALL of my plans. Told my Christmas day dinner guest I am not cooking, and cancelled church with another friend.

My son and I will get together after the holidays...probably go out to dinner.
