I arranged a game of Horus Heresy with a friend at the store on 24th July (next week friday). We're going to play a 1000pt game, and I'm going to use my Imperial Fists.
I've also spent a bit of time tonight doing more highlighting on the 'command' models for my Necromunda collection. The armour, cloth, and yellow are now done on all five. Hopefully they're visible in the picture.
Also I got the two boxes of MK4 marines that I ordered a couple of weeks ago. I gave the Sicaran tanks to a friend, and kept the 40 MK4 tactical marines, 20 MK4 assault marines, and two Contemptor Dreadnoughts. The dreadnoughts are going to be Imperial Fists and eventually I'm going to get the resin body upgrades for them and make them the 'leaders' of the two talons I've already got. The dream is to have like 19 contemptors (6 talons of 3 and the old Imperial Fists resin one as a command dreadnought - I have no idea what I'd arm the other 12 with lol) and maybe 6 Deredeos (3 talons of 2) and two more Saturnine dreadnoughts (one with each gun doubled up - I already have the plasma and disintegrator ones done, just the inversion beamer and graviton ones to go).
