I'm struggling with painting motivation right now

Over the last week or so, I've felt the desire to paint my miniatures, but every time I try I can only make a small amount of progress before I have to stop. It's a feeling kind of like writer's block, and I don't know how to overcome it. It makes things incredibly frustrating.

I think it means just paint. The way from a creative block is never not painting if your creativity is painting. I love photography, told I'm good with it, even got into a school for photography, but guess what I do when I have a block? I don't take photographs. I'm learning that block is so easy.

@thewindupbirdchronicles I ended up working on a different project and it worked out decently enough. May not go back to the original project for a while, but still painting

Yes. I hate that feeling especially when there’s a lot to be done, and you still can’t get yourself to do it smh. I think it’s best to step back and let it be for awhile. Return to it in a week and do something new in the meantime
