Quirky village life.

They decorate our post box with a knitted theme throughout the year, seasons and holidays etc. This is the summer theme, can't wait to see what the fall theme is. They are always different, I don't even know who makes them, they just appear and disappear.

@SomeMichGuy I think that GR would be King George VI, father to Queen Elizabeth 2nd so the box would be pre 1952

@Ghoulie They can't keep the business viable on just letters and postcards, though.

We just don't use snail mail enough anymore - that's why they are having to go into parcels, too.
