Do you have a serious hobby!

My hobby doesn't require skill like you need for piano and art. I do family history research and write family history books for a hobby. That branches off into helping others in their research.

Music - I play guitar. I sometimes write music and record it too but not really doing that lately. I enjoy building and working on guitars too.

Thrifting for collectables, decorating and design, gardening,cooking and refinishing furniture.

I write.. out of habit but also in seriousness occasionally..

Making clothes. Cooking. Dance.

Reading. I love books

I used to sew a lot but it’s too hard for me to thread the needles now so I haven’t made anything in over ten years

I forgot to include Sudoku. Kind of an obsession not a hobby

I also play the piano, I knit and crochet, write and enjoy cooking.

Ceramics.
And when we travel, photography.

I am into photography. Not so much pictures you take with a smartphone but more the type of photography where you can adjust settings and be more creative. I have 2 bigger SLR cameras that I use extensively practically on a daily basis.

I have several serious interests, but I would not classify any of them as a "serious hobby" as in collectibles, crafts, etc. Although as a child I collected stamps, picture post cards, maps--anything that opened up that outside world to me when I was bedridden.

Gardening.

I am more of a student in a few of my "hobbies" .
I have nearly 1000 hours flying but i still feel like a student when compared to my husband's life time of flying. I also kick-box, and have for 25 years. But I still take lessons every week.

Hunting and fishing might be my hobbies. I do a lot if I can and never seem to get my fill.

I'm serious about my hobbies but then I'm in an empty period right now.

Yes. Its called life.
