Doctor Sleep.
The follow up to The Shining, I hated the first hour of this (a lot of brutal horror is implied without shoeing* too much) but it is such a well constructed film that by the end I really appreciated what it was all about.

@AngelUnforgiven I thought it was a technical film ie not one to watch if you are tired or drunk. What would you consider a good horror film?
