What makes you feel all comfy cozy inside?

1. Baking brownies on a cold night
2. A warm fireplace (wish I had one!)
3. Certain cartoons
4. Watching old classic shows or movies
5. Watching the rain with some hot cocoa

I have a fake fireplace, it’s a cabinet thingy below my tv (it also has a heater on it for winter) … I also light a lot of candles and incense often bc I’m a fragrancefetishfreak

Music

Snuggles from kiddos and dogs

Smell of food cooking (especially something that goes all day)

I love lights for Xmas too… like all the warm cozy feels of that time

[warm bath or shower, sleeping peacefuly.
When it rains outside and I'm warm in a blanket
Or when its cold but you’re in that cocoon of a warm blanket, spooning with another or with a pet or two. Yeah that’s cozy bliss @SW-User
Yes, all of those things.
And soup with a whole house of quiet.

Tatertot Hotdish, homemade beef stew, anything from the Dutch oven when camping, sunrises, that first day in early spring when you can open the windows - when you feel the sun on your back and feel the warmth come back after a long winter, the fireplace, hot chocolate, hoodies with thumb holes, when someone passes a joint at an outdoor music venue, when the cat sleeps on my legs at night, fleece blankets, and alpaca wool socks.
Coralmist · 41-45, F
@Starcrossed So is it with hamburger or? Maybe cheese? I hope lol
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
@Coralmist theres many variations but essentially cream of chicken and another cream of [celery/mushroom], some vegetables (usually carrots, peas, beans, corn) frozen/fresh or not too soft canned, 1# of browned ground beef [I've done chorizo too], line top layer of tater tots, you can top with cheese the last 5 mins or so if you want.
Uh I think it was like 350 for something around a half hour.
Coralmist · 41-45, F
@Starcrossed Nice its similar to a casserole yes but instead of noodles, tots!! Yum..I may try it, ty😃🤤

I'm just so glad to be back home sweet home.

To all the mess to all the dirty laundry but I don't give a damn I'm just so glad to be back home sweet home there I am safe and Im snug and snoring and so glad to be there...
A cat curled up on my chest purring like mad cuz I’m oh-so gently rubbing her ears with my thumb and forefinger
@Coralmist Think about it and yeah, they have it made. She sleeps like 15 hours. Has multiple window beds for optimum sun spots, a little heated hutch, a kitty splash fountain that keeps her water clean and a human slave. 😆
Coralmist · 41-45, F
@stratosranger PLUS warm ear rubs? Shes Queen lol.
@Coralmist I am hypnotized by the purr. Must rub ears, keep the goddess warm and catatonic with my body heat. 🐈‍⬛ 😆 Every so often she gets a little of that kitty crud in her eyes and I’m able to gently remove it with q tips. I know it’s gross but the purr goes into overdrive when I get her eyes cleaned like that. I guess its a spot she can’t get to with her paws

Cup of tea, blanket and fireplace on. ☺️

Rainy night and classic movies is perfection
PassingThrough · 46-50, M
@Coralmist I’m down for classic black and white movies like Arsenic and Old Lace, Casablanca and others
Coralmist · 41-45, F
@PassingThrough Wuthering Heights is b&w...they are special, I agree
PassingThrough · 46-50, M
@Coralmist I never saw it (obviously since I didn’t know that) but that works for me. I also get a kick out of the universal monster movies since that’s what made me aware of old movies when I was a kid
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
The last time I grabbed some towels out of the dryer, they were really warm and I couldn't resist wrapping one around me.
WaryWitchWandering · 36-40, F
@uncalled4 when I was pregnant I was for some reason obsessed with clean laundry smells, especially bleach loads (towels/sheets/curtains/tablecloths)

The super clean smell

I even had a car airfreshener of “sundried laundry” (the tree ones)…. I kept one in my purse, and when I would feel stressed or upset I would take it out and smell it 😂😂😂😂😂
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
@WaryWitchWandering Life is short. Huff those trees.
high on weed & listening to good music. ideally i'd go for a big ol hug.
Sure you want to know? It's weird.
Coralmist · 41-45, F
@Coralmist Space and science. I think it is like your pinned post actually. I get a lot of awe from the universe and that is cozy.
