Languishing at the hospital

Gah what a nightmare. I'm at an inner city hospital. I fainted earlier, twice, and puked all over someone. There was no room at the hospital near me.

When I first came in it was an SW Executive Board meeting. Incoherent and incessant lunatics. Thankfully it's quieted now.

Called everyone I know who might be up. No luck.

Anyway I should be fine. I am erratic about eating so I guess this is inevitable.

Carry on 😊

Awww...I hope they can give you an IV for a while. I keep granola bars in my bag during the day, they really come in handy. Sometimes I grab a cheese stick as I'm heading out, or just a large drink that has calories like chocolate milk.

@Coralmist I've already finished the IV. I think it's just a matter of chasing down the doctor. They took bloodwork too

Sucks that I'll probably need an expensive cab ride home. But it could certainly be worse 😊

I hope you're feeling better now. Dehydration and low electrolytes can cause such symptoms.

Time to start looking after yourself. You are in control of your destiny. What do you want your future path to be?
Wellness and Happiness? Or staring at the ceiling in a hospital bed?
The decision is yours.
Get well then make some decisions.

Hospitals are never pleasant. Hope you recover very quickly and the cure isn't worse than the disease.
Feel better 🤒

Guy next to me has a severe hernia - some of his intestine is coming out his ass. 😳They are getting ready for emergency surgery

How awful. At least he's morphined up

@SmoKin

Thanks. Strangest thing. I'm sure it was taking bp meds before eating (both seriously lower bp)
