How to get rid of lower back pain ?

My back hurts cos I had lifted a heavy metal during my first voyage. It still hurts even after a year. Any idea about the problem ?

As goofy as it sounds, loose your shoes and walk barefoot, and allow your feet to act as the natural shock absorbers they were designed to be. You see, walking in shoes forces a heel strike step, sending the shock of that step right up your leg, into your ankles, knees, hips and back. Walking barefoot, as we were intended to walk, causes a forefoot strike, making the 33 bones and many muscles, tendons and joints in each foot, absorb the shock of each step, removing that stress from the rest of your body, including your back. However in your case, simply walking without shoes may not be the answer.

Thanks for your advice. Sounds good. May be I should try it and keep taking doctors advice.

The ONLY thing that got me out of constant back pain was
celecoxib
I took it for a relative long time /now there is no need for it
but I understand it may be dangerous to someone with existing heart problems
and may cause heart attacks and strokes

after years and years of suffering I found something that worked for me

@CrimsonDays: I don't have heart problems. But I'll talk to my doctor about it soon.
Ouch :/ should be careful.. You can get permanent damage :/

I'm just a little upset with it. I hope it's not something big. I'll see a doctor soon.
Ok :/

@MrsNel: I'll be careful next time. Thanks :)
Trust me...co codimol works or other opiates
iamronnie · 31-35, M
I'm not sure what that is.
@iamronnie: opiates are a painkiller and work temporarily anyway...I use them as and when needed

Okay. Now I get it. I can't take pain killers all the time. It's dangerous.

Probably a pinched nerve

Heat pads may help.
