How to get rid of lower back pain ?

My back hurts cos I had lifted a heavy metal during my first voyage. It still hurts even after a year. Any idea about the problem ?

@iamronnie: opiates are a painkiller and work temporarily anyway...I use them as and when needed

Okay. Now I get it. I can't take pain killers all the time. It's dangerous.
