That's great! Congratulations! I am also on Losartan and have been able to lose considerable weight. I'm back to where I was in 2003, 19 years ago. Cutting out sugar was the key for me.

I decided to drop some weight in Dec so I’d look good for summer. It also helps with my martial arts training as you give up some mass for speed.
In Dec, I weighed 227. This morning, not at my lowest (by a bit), I’m 187. 40 lbs lost. No meds. Stay away from meds.
How?
Cut your carbs to a minimum
Cut your sugar out
Eat protein and veggies
Workout daily.
Workout - You need a half hour daily. Push yourself. Start with 15 minutes and work your way up.
For the half hour, I try to get my heartbeat to average 130-140. 120’s can do the trick, but it means you’re leaving some in the tank.
If you like help monitoring beyond the scale, use your iWatch to set goals:
“Move” needs to be 800 or more
“Exercise” needs to be at least 30, 40 is preferable
“Stand” defaults to 12. That’s fine.
Soon you’ll impress yourself. The diet is the key to start. The correct food will put you in fat burning mode. That’s why you HAVE TO CUT CARBS AND SUGAR INITIALLY.

@Adogslife thank you for your input. My blood pressure needs to be handled with drugs. i have tried everything....when i was a normal weight it was climbing. i am certain it is emotional. i have had the worst life you have ever heard of. i am surprised i am not dead. but the doctors were going to dump me if i didn't go on blood pressure medicine. so i did. I don't have an iWatch or a fit bit.

Congratulations. May i ask what Losartan is? Is it a weight loss drug?

@ninalanyon because it keeps your blood pressure from going very high and therefore making it almost impossible to loss weight
