Fully inoculated against COVID, babyyyyyy! Got my second shot of Moderna today. Thanks Science!

The vaccine took a 13 year old boys life, yesterday. I spit in the face of science!
@Entwistle @iamonfire696 @Pikachu this lunatic is never going to say anything worth responding to.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@LordShadowfire so very true but I hate all the misinformation that is posted.
@LordShadowfire

lol of course not.
But another user convinced me to let him have enough rope to hang himself.
Jonjdw · 46-50, M
@Pikachu I just told you In my first comment that have not received it yet. I never said I was never going to

And you began to attack me

I have not attacked you for your choice.

I continue to work throughout this pandemic I work in one of the worst covid parts of the state last year that I live in.

Member all I said that I had no plans of getting it yet. My son got both shots I also live with my three young grandchildren that we know are we did not get it while I was working.
@Jonjdw
Well i think you can probably excuse me for inferring that "I have no plans to get it" means "i'm not getting it".

I don't mean to attack you, i'm just expressing what i feel and i don't feel that people who choose not to get the vaccine are being responsible, considerate neighbours.

I'm sorry if i came on too strong. Public health is something i feel strongly about.

two shots of the death jab, you do realise this stuff hasn't been properly tested - no-one knows the long term side effects, we are the guinea pigs
@SW-User

1) If you don't know the long term effects, how can you justifiably call it a "death jab"? Rather betrays your bias there.
2) The technology is not new, it's been around for decades.
3) Side effects from vaccines have all happened within a few weeks of injection. So even the effects that are long term have presented within the first few weeks.

@SW-User Do some 6th grade level research. The vaccines test old clinical trials any drug needs to in order to be put on the market. Tell me, were you so worried when Viagra in the market that it hadn't been adequately tested?
DrWatson · 70-79, M
For me, it was a great feeling to walk out of that clinic after getting my second shot!
@DrWatson
Yeah it's kinda cool. It's like a signal to the end of this pandemic and certainly a pleasing amount of personal protection.

@JohnOinger Thanks👍

@Pikachu @TheLastWord is a suicidal narcissistic sack of [redacted].
@Pikachu I'm not saying I want him dead. I just want him to feel it, so he can stop whining about safety precautions. He literally thinks putting a piece of cloth over his face is the worst form of torture ever invented.
@LordShadowfire

lol i find that so hilarious. How better to broadcast one's privilege then by crying "oppression!" at having to wear a mask in public.
Jonjdw · 46-50, M
No plan yet for me to get it.
@Jonjdw

I don't believe everything the government tells me.
But i also don't disbelieve everything the government tells me.

This virus is real. It is not the flu, it has killed millions and it is a vaccine that will give us back control, just like vaccines have done with a number of devastating diseases.
That's the thing about vaccines and it's something which was predicted: When they work well, people forget how much we need them.

So you make your choice. But i've made mine and you're welcome because i've done my civic duty and my choice and the people who make the same choice will help keep you safe even though you won't offer us the same courtesy.
Jonjdw · 46-50, M
@Pikachu yes I have chosen I will take my chances and let nature take it’s course

I do believe the vaccine is probably safe and mostly

But I’m still the time to let nature take it’s course.

I also rarely go to the doctor if I don’t need to. I don’t even have a doctor.
@Jonjdw
and let nature take it’s course
And if more people thought that way then kids would still be dying from polio.
I also rarely go to the doctor
In the last 30 years of my life i can count the number of doctor visits on one hand.
I haven't done this for me. I've done it for you, and my grandpa and my nieces and nephew.

Sorry to be preachy. I'm glad you understand the vaccine is largely safe. I just wish you'd have more empathy.
OnePatheticClown · 51-55, M
Oh, I got the first past week, and I can still feel the communist nano machines flowing through my bloodstream
@OnePatheticClown

lol well you take the bad with the good, right?
Well, in two more weeks, you will be fully vaccinated, congrats
Quetzalcoatlus · 46-50, M
Great cell phone reception!!
@Quetzalcoatlus I can feel the 5G flowing through me. I'm a wifi Jedi.
RedBaron · M
What took you so long?
@RedBaron

That's just how long it took where i live🤷‍♀️ I got it as soon as i could.

iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
I got my second on June 25th. Glad you were able to get it.
@iamonfire696

Ya beat me! Good for you too!✌️
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@Pikachu thank you 💕
Watch for swollen lymph nodes, buddy. But congrats!
@LordShadowfire

The first dose went fine. I think this one should be ok.

@SpiritualMan Agree to disagree regarding the add-ons. But I glad to talk to someone who isn't actively declaring that he or she is spitting in the face of science. My block list is filling up fast today.
