Soap is not entirely effective
When you cough you spread germs!
It’s in the air that way!

Yes, it's extremely effective and considered the first line of defense against the virus. But we always tend to forget the inconvenient parts of recommendations. It's not "ban plastic bottles;" it's "reduce, reuse...then recycle."
It's not "hit that hand gel when you get home." A thorough washing of hands with soap and water is the primary suggestion.
What the soap does is destroy the outer wall of each virus cell, so it dies, essentially. It's really simply to avoid passing and contracting this virus; we simply always want the easiest way out.

Imagine a virus so deadly.. soap kills it but needs a vaccine 🤷♂️

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout It is so deadly it will eat right through your countertop - everybody under your beds.

@MarmeeMarch that’s the gossip 😏
If soap really worked... then, why do we even have a pandemic in the first place???
There are far more hygiene aware people now than ever before, yet, people are still getting sick.

Because soap has to be rinsed off - I suppose you can use basically any cleaner - even Windex

Try it, and if it works let us all know.

So the soap helps the water wash the stuff off of your hands. Soap without water I don't think will do anything.
