@Diesel95 😳 Its scary that you don't even know how you got it in the first place.
I don't leave home without a mask and always have hand sanitizer wherever I go, but somehow I get the feeling this is not enough.
I wish I could just never go outside, but sometimes I really don't have a choice, so I'm kinda paranoid and hyperaware of surfaces I touch and keeping my distance from others.

No. But I can't wait to be tested. I reckon most in our county had it in January & February.
dondon · M
@Valentine They are not surveys, either random sampling or blood work anlysis, so they give an acurate representation. Selective would be taking a very small group like an army unit and testing that only. Also your argument doesn't make any sense
Unchecked, this virus will race through any and every collection of people
That is the point, only a small portion has had it so if left unchecked a lot more will get it.

@Valentine i think it was rife here before they are telling us too. I was bad with my athsma and throat just before xmas...and my husband was so poorly over xmas and new year...the worst ive ever seen him.
My sister in law tested positive...but is back in work now. I have 2 friends who have left lost parents x

My best friend has. She is in the police.she is ok, did not need to be hospitalised but has been isolated in her flat for 8 weeks now
InOtterWords · F
@iMystery we saw her start of march and none of us or anyone else around us has been ill.
Another friend has had it with her family but we have not seen each other in a long while.

@InOtterWords In that case it sounds like it has been more than 14 days already since having contact and none of you have any symptoms, so I think you are safe lol.
InOtterWords · F
@iMystery I think so xx

I would not get tested. Have you seen how far they jam the super long Q-Tip up your nose? 😨
4meAndyou · F
Nope. We have had such severe shortages of test kits here in the USA that only people who have serious symptoms are being tested. The first week of March, I was pretty sure I had a very mild case of it, and I self quarantined just from common sense and followed CDC directives.

@SW-User Lol yeah I see him.
ExperienceDLT · M
@SW-User I'm not contagious dammit
SW-User
Not me, but today my town has covid-19 testing available for anyone who wants it even if you don't have symptoms so it'll be interesting to see if anyone in town has it. So far it hasn't come to my town yet ...as far as we know.
SW-User
@Stereoguy Thanks, yeah the plan is for everyone to be tested regularly so that they can track any new cases more easily.
purplepen · 51-55, F
@SW-User OK, that sounds great, but there have been some problems with contaminated testing kits.
SW-User
@purplepen That would be a worry. As far as I’ve heard the test kits here are ok.
JoePourMan · 61-69, M
I don't even know anyone one that has been tested

No.I don’t know anyone who has either.We need to start easing restrictions.
TheSirfurryanimalWales · 61-69, M
@RubySoo and it seems the assembly and the UK government are now at war.The big speech this Sunday,which the whole country will see,will only be about easing lockdown in England.The Assembly have as good as said they will not be changing anything.After getting all optimistic I am now extremely depressed again. @dondon
It has been a lot longer than a month now and I can’t live like this.I have just about
reached the point where I hope I get it and expire.
