No.I don’t know anyone who has either. We need to start easing restrictions.

@TheSirfurryanimalWales You have way to many active cases to ease restrictions
@dondon it seems they are determined to open schools in June.If they do that it is going to be difficult to leave everything else shut.
dondon · M
@TheSirfurryanimalWales a) that's in a month, so there is time to improve before that. b) you can absolutely leave everything else shut and just open schools.

@TheSirfurryanimalWales @dondonschools should not be reopened in my opinion. The school i worked at had 500 kids. Thats hundreds of parents that turn up at 3pm to pick up their kids and stand around in a huddle.....it would be a heck of a feat to stagger classes arriving, leaving and believe me....most of these people aare only interested in their own situation and will cause a lot of grief if they have kids in different classes coming out at different times. This could mean some of them would need to wait ages to gather all their kids. Im so glad i di t work there right now and have to be involved in any of this .
@dondon opening schools will increase traffic on the roads, kids will not be practising social distancing, teachers and ancillary workers will be at work.
If it is safe to do that the government are going to have a hard time persuading me I should stay at home with no social contact.

@TheSirfurryanimalWales The reason it's different is that reaserach has been done and indicated that children don't really spread it that much. That parents infect children, but almost never the other way around. And schools are still going to try to keep the distance rules in place as much as possible. One idea is to run at half capacity for the time being.
@RubySoo yeah-but it was announced yesterday that is the hope. The Welsh Assembly could refuse to allow that in Wales of course. But they keep saying they prefer a four nation approach despite having us under the strictest lockdown measures in Britain
And something has to give.We cannot stay in lockdown forever.I am desperate for some social contact.Living alone during this is soul destroying.
dondon · M
@TheSirfurryanimalWales The measures can't be in place forever, that is for sure, but that's why it's so exteremly important that people really follow strict rules for a month. Every person not taking it serious and getting sick means you have to extend the measures.
RubySoo · 56-60, F
@TheSirfurryanimalWaleshmm....yeah...4 nations are fine...but since we can hop over each othets borders whenever we like....its hard to stoma h when one says this and another says that... ....
It must so hard if yr alone. Hugs. X

@TheSirfurryanimalWales If you're in Wales, unless you're in a big city the infection rate might be less than elsewhere. I've been to Wales and saw more sheep than people.
@RubySoo and it seems the assembly and the UK government are now at war.The big speech this Sunday, which the whole country will see, will only be about easing lockdown in England. The Assembly have as good as said they will not be changing anything. After getting all optimistic I am now extremely depressed again. @dondon
It has been a lot longer than a month now and I can’t live like this.I have just about
reached the point where I hope I get it and expire.

@TheSirfurryanimalWales arrrh hunni...please dont say that. We needyouhere with us....now....and when this is all over. XX

@TheSirfurryanimalWales don't think there will be much easing down here in England, not like the papers are saying
