well, i just heard of the first case in my area. a 70-something year old man was admitted to a specially designated/quarantined area of the ICU today at a hospital less than ten miles from me.
i'm wondering if this virus has a "season".
edit: patient has an underlying condition and has recently traveled outside the continental U.S.

patient is quarantined and there is room if more arrive.

No. The fear-mongering over it is completely out of control.

Not anymore that getting the flu does.

Kinda sorta.
I can't stop living just because there's a chance of contracting it... I'll just live cautiously until it dies down.

Your immune system will protect you, that is if you are generally healthy.
So if you eat junk food, high sugar intake, little sleep, unhappy, highly self obsessed, moody. ..addictions that deplete you. ..then you are at a higher risk. .of most viruses. .
Always eat healthy
Always wash your hands
Refrain from touching your mouth and eyes/nose after been in public places (mask wearing will stop you from touching your face)

Nope, but how people react to it and take it as an opportunity to be paranoid does.
SW-User
Not really. I take good care of myself, and I'm always washing my hands anyway.
No.. i believe in the theory that they are just trying to scare us all 🙄🙄🙄

whatever is happening is happening for the good. It all happens for a reason.. as the world needs a change as to how life is lived, and how things are conducted. It was impossible to control China, but looks like they determined their own end. The world is now gifted with time to think and a long deserved rest.

Success · 26-30, F
One case here. No deaths.
If I die, I die ... I'm OK with that. What scares me is if somebody I love dies.
MrAboo · 36-40, M
