well, i just heard of the first case in my area. a 70-something year old man was admitted to a specially designated/quarantined area of the ICU today at a hospital less than ten miles from me.
i'm wondering if this virus has a "season".
edit: patient has an underlying condition and has recently traveled outside the continental U.S.
a spokes-doctor said, [quote]"It's not been confirmed with the CDC but we're highly confident that's going to be verified."[/quote]
patient is quarantined and there is room if more arrive.
