Treadmill. It’s flat and I can stack more things easily on it.

treadmill, throw a cushion down on it and it's the perfect place for the cat to rest

All the people I know with home gym equipment use it for a couple months and then it stands around collecting dust and getting in the way.

@Wraithorn The handles of my elliptical make a great clothes hanger 👍🏻

@PerfectionOfTheHeart Lol. There you go.

Give it two weeks. The herd will thin out drastically.
The equipment to fill the gap of not going to the gym depends on what you’re going for. You can’t go wrong with dumbbells, a medicine ball, and resistance bands. Of the two options listed though, I lean more towards the treadmill because when I used the stationary bike I felt like I wasn’t getting the workout I wanted. Everyone’s preference is different and mine’s coming from someone who just prefers to run.

Depends on the space you have at home. Cheaper folding treadmills often aren’t worth the money

Choose the one that you will want to stick with.

I would advise against the treadmill (does't do anything...and you are not a hamster).
If you have a big screen TV...throw up YT...theres are too many amazing complete workout options, with no equipment that you can do in a small 5x5 square space in front of your TV. Much cheaper..the back for buck doesn't even compare.

Can you get outside?
PerfectionOfTheHeart · 46-50, F
@yeronlyman Haha I actually dislike the downhill more than the uphill. My knees see it as a period of rest and start getting all bajiggity.
yeronlyman · 51-55, M
@PerfectionOfTheHeart bajiggity

By mid-February most of the resolution-makers will be gone.
Don't bother with the purchase.
