No, I've never had a flu vaccine because I don't get flu for some reason.

SW-User
@Wraithorn never say never ha

@SW-User Haha, nice. :-)
I wonder if it has something to do with establishing a healthy immune system in childhood. By letting it work and develop and not using meds. Living a healthy life.

Hmmmm..
Well, I grew up on a dairy farm and I was always dirty 🙂 we didn't see many doctors and always played outside, I don't get poison ivy or poison oak, probably because I used to regularly play in woods filled with both.. I've always been very healthy and rarely get sick..
I haven't seen a doctor in decades, I think my immune system is pretty strong not withstanding my issue with hives, which is a mystery

I’ve only had it the last couple of years.
Haven’t had the flu in many years....but I always figured that if I did get the flu I could handle it better than most people. Especially when they had a shortage of the vaccine, I’d purposefully avoid getting it because others needed it more.
The last couple of years, they’ve had plenty of the vaccine....and I’m getting a bit older, so I figured why not get it.

@Gusman yeah...I hear this year will be a bad one here too.
Gusman · 61-69, M
@SW-User Restrict your exposure to crowds etc. I never had the vaccine this year, stayed away from people, never got flu🤷♂️

SW-User
@Gusman can't avoid them at work. 😖
ReneeT · 61-69, F
Last year was the first year. I didn't get sick so I have to guess it worked

SW-User
I haven't had a flu shot since 1974 and I have never had the flu.
Carla · 61-69, F

I have to for my job.
graywanderer · 51-55, M
I've done it for years (who knows how long). I've had the flu a few times but I'm sure my kids are younger than yours.
Gusman · 61-69, M
@graywanderer No children for me, by choice
butterfly1013 · 26-30, F
Nope

SW-User
Never got a flu shot. I was at a bar once and this shady doctor walked in offering flu shots at 30 bucks a pop😂
Gusman · 61-69, M
@SW-User Steer clear of those reprobates😡
TexChik · F
Nope ! It’s only 35% effective . Last year’s batch was ridiculous . Dr’s won’t take it.
PirateMonkeyCabinet · 36-40, M
I haven't done it before but I plan on taking it from hereon out. Not just for the sake of the general populace, but with a friend on immunosupressants its important to me personally as well.
caesar7 · 61-69, M
Yes I do. Every year.
