How does one react to a terminal Illness Diagnosis?

Olivia Newton John has asked her Doctors to not tell her how much longer she has to live with her Breast Cancer.
I would most likely go bush, spend some quality time with nature then turn out my own lights.

Yeah I'd do the same thing tbh.
Doctors are not always right about time frames and having a set time limit would just occupy your mind too much in the time you have left.
There was a time where I would have taken it badly and probably lashed out at others out of fear but if I recieved that infomation now I would accept it... Maybe not immediately lol but it is what it is, death comes for us all sooner or later... Memento Mori.
Sending my love to Olivia and her family tho xx

@MushroomFaerie Really is sad that everyone/everything has to die.
Not a great system really.
Such a short time frame to enjoy all there is.
@Gusman I don't look at it like that anymore. Doesnt take away the life that you had but its very hard for the people that love us... Sometimes it makes us stronger.
At the end of the day we were born to die... I think modern society scares us into feeling like its unnatural
