Vitamins are already in food

Current research indicates vitamin supplements don't do much of anything at all.

The bioavailability isn't the same in supplements as in real food as we aren't built to process them in the same way. Possibly, certainly can't hurt to try.

If they’re chewable then probably not. However if you just swallow them it’d absorb quicker if you ground it up and put it in water
Xuan12 · 36-40, M
@CallmeJenny69 I'm not worried about speed, just efficiency. How much of it gets absorbed.
CallmeJenny69 · 31-35, M
@Xuan12 it would be fast and efficient
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
some things shouldn't be broken up or they'll absorb too quickly, such as calcium supplements, I got leg cramps that way, the vitamin D absorbed too quickly and uptake of calcium was too much all at once.
Xuan12 · 36-40, M
@cherokeepatti I think the fat soluable vitamins may absorb better if they get mixed with some fat like in an avocado or olive oil. I'm still thinking about the water soluable ones.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Xuan12 If you eat something with fat in it then it should absorb well when taking the whole capsule with it. Doesn't have to be broken down.
Xuan12 · 36-40, M
@cherokeepatti Maybe...I'm just thinking about the timing of it. The capsule might not breakdown as quickly as the oils get absorbed. I tried looking it up, but this specific info is not as forthcoming as most. Hmm....

🤔Not sure how that would taste but give it a try!
Yas but you wouldn't want that high concentration artificially.

no idea. Cows are given B12 injections. Is it better ?
