Would vitamin supplements absorb more efficiently if they're ground up and put into food?

Current research indicates vitamin supplements don't do much of anything at all.

@Graylight I know. They largley pass through you. That's why I'm wondering about different methods of absorbing them.

@Xuan12 I'd be interested to know what you find out. For those who are truly deficient in one or another vitamin, there has to be an absorption method. I know doctors advocate B12 injections, but that's an office visit kind of thing.
