Would vitamin supplements absorb more efficiently if they're ground up and put into food?

some things shouldn't be broken up or they'll absorb too quickly, such as calcium supplements, I got leg cramps that way, the vitamin D absorbed too quickly and uptake of calcium was too much all at once.

@cherokeepatti I think the fat soluable vitamins may absorb better if they get mixed with some fat like in an avocado or olive oil. I'm still thinking about the water soluable ones.

@Xuan12 If you eat something with fat in it then it should absorb well when taking the whole capsule with it. Doesn't have to be broken down.

@cherokeepatti Maybe...I'm just thinking about the timing of it. The capsule might not breakdown as quickly as the oils get absorbed. I tried looking it up, but this specific info is not as forthcoming as most. Hmm....
