I have one that I use daily. The brand is verilux. It stays in my bathroom and I turn it on every morning as I get ready for the day. I get about 30-45 minutes of exposure. It does help...especially during the shorter days. Too much of it gives me the jitters. I highly recommend it.

Yes I have two LED portable ones, last one has a rechargeable battery and can sit close to it without being near an electrical outlet. My birds like it too after we've had a few cloudy days in the winter, they perk right up.

I have a stash of "old-fashioned" 100 and 150w bulbs that I keep for the winter months! 💡

I have seen it work. It is difficult though to do a control study.

It helps me wake up in the morning but that's about it.
