@Haniazed in fact the British BMA published a policy on circumcision section 4 that someone requesting circumcision for health must be corrected by doctor that that does not justify it.

I am not circumcised, unusual for my age living in the us, and I am so grateful. My foreskin is not only so amazingly sensitive but it protects the head and keeps it pleasurable and sensitive...feels amazing. And yes, I wash and clean it every day...

i am among the MANY men who complain. any infant circumcision is doubt will he as adult want cut or complain or "after the fact sour grape" be compelled to hide his loss and say "cut and happy" as cover.
we must interfere to prevent any medically unnecessary cut, even from religious by punishment of the one cutting. this preserved BOTH options, "stay intact as adult or cut" but cut is too late not preserved options.
especially most Chinese and European WANT health therefore intact.

@foldedunfolding I've read the same things as you, and it stands to reason that the penis is made the way it is for a reason. Altering it seems pretty unlikely to make it function better for either sex. I think the real reason why it's done, which people seem unwilling to admit to for some reason, is that it simply looks so much better.

I'm not; it's not the custom in my country, though I do remember seeing one or two circumcised cocks in the showers at school and thinking they looked a bit odd. I used the think it was a really weird idea and I was glad it hadn't been done to me, but having seen many more of them since the advent of the internet, I can't deny that it looks incomparably better. From talking to women about it over the years, there's no doubt that they prefer it too, and perhaps that's the most important thing.

@OldBrit even term "uncut" is a problem. consider the word unhealthy. like not the usual. we don't say, "he recovered and is unsick" similar uncut is like unsick. intact is natural but cut is unnatural. even the words are propaganda so doctors in u.s. can do QUICK cut for quick buck and lie they recommend lies for their greed, when most men on planet know intact better china india and modern europe.

@Winston335 i get you are grateful but even in your story a risk you might complain so must protect child from medically unnecessary cut. not only men complained in u.s. but MOST men on earth intact in china indea even modern europe. protect your childs options so he can choose as adult because cut is not Giving it lessens and most of world knows intact is better.
in fact 75% of cut men are muslim... who low or encourage female genital cuts.
