Taking a mental health day today....Even as I was doing my makeup earlier, I kept thinking, "You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig"....
If y'all happen to have any kind words (def don't have to be physicality or looks/lack thereof related)....I could use some kindness today. Forgive the fakeass smile below..it is a levee that is breaking. And sorry if I don't respond in a timely manner..I'm running around trying to distract myself from suicidal ideation tbh.
Please appreciate the beauty I know, life can seem cruel at times, or nothing seems to go right, or dissatisfaction looms large. Turn on some things you enjoy, read a book or two, take your mind to stuff that please you, do something exciting. Remember This,too, shall pass. All feelings eventually pass.
Sorry to hear that 😥. It always good to remember those things in the past that seemed so huge and troublesome and now look at them to give them perspective of a different time
