True or false - pull out a gray hair, and two more will come back

Asking for... a friend 🫣👵

No, that won't affect the color of the others at all. You'll just go bald if you pull out too many.

Edit: fixed typo
@Emele thanks for the best comment 😁

I know... I'm getting pretty gray headed too.
I have learned by pulling a few out in the past that, it will grow back gray. If that strand Is gray now, that's just what it is. I literally remember my face . I was like, " it's back,my gray hair is back"! 😲😮👵🏾

I'm fine with it getting gray.
I just don't like hearing" oh look Nikki, you have a gray hair" as they point

Ahhhh finally a cure for baldness lol
I have vitiligo, and have had some success in reversing greying caused by vitigilo (when the skin heals the hair follicals change too), I haven't seen any evidence that the randomly distributed greys on my chest are turning back to their original color. Natural greying isn't reversible as of yet, and I'm the only person I've ever heard of having any success in turning any sort of grey hair back to normal without dying them.

Basically get used to aging, and try to do it gracefully. Don't go crazy with lip fillers and botox, just makes you look worst as you get older.

That's false but if you eat a seed a tree will grow in your belly and if you masturbate then hair will grow in your palm.

try pulling out a black hair, and see what happens duhhh?
Repete · 61-69, M
@oldguy73 good point, maybe you hit on a way to undo gray hair. Hmmm wait what if all my I mean your hair is grey 🙃
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
no lol your hair is just going grey

Each hair follicle can only produce one hair at a time. If you pull out a gray hair, it may eventually grow back as another gray hair, but the act of pulling it out won't cause more gray hairs to appear.
Not sure but i have stood in the mirror and pulled a couple went right to the store for some dye🤷‍♀️

From time to time I tend to do that but it's basically hereditary when it comes to gray hair.
zonavar68 · 56-60, M
At 55 my hair is almost all grey on my head now, but remains (for now) the proper original dark brown everywhere else.

Looking back at pics taken with my last ex about 10 yrs ago I still had mostly all brown hair on my head then.

But because I'm a 'sub-5' in attractiveness with an SMV score of only 3.2 I don't need to care about my looks because nobody else cares. Singledom as a mature adult with no romantic partner rocks!

they have been saying that for years ,, i tried it and am bald , they never came back ,,lol

I think the answer is different depending on the location of the hair😷

I don’t worry about my gray hair. It looks great!
Definitely true - about my nostril hairs at least :(
OverTheHill · 56-60, M
