I notice more men than women limping as the result of a stroke

Very rarely do I see women with the same affliction.
Is that because more men have strokes than women?

I see a man around the neighborhood and noticed that his face looks like he constantly has a smirk.
He wasn't always like that. My guess is that he had a stroke.
Other than his facial expression he's the same
