I notice more men than women limping as the result of a stroke

Very rarely do I see women with the same affliction.
Is that because more men have strokes than women?

idk my grandfather on my mothers side had a stroke and was half paralyzed and in a wheelchair till he died .. actually when it first happened the hospital wanted my grandmother to pull the plug on him but she refused.. and cared for him till the end he lived several years past his stroke but couldn't speak

i'm not sure what the ratio/stats of men to women the occurrences of stroke are or of it effects them differently when they do occur

where are you seeing these people and how do you know they had a stroke to cause their limp?
