Update from doctor visit yesterday

There aren't any definitive tests to test for dizziness. But based on my symptoms and past issues, it has been ruled that I might have sinus issues and a problem with a tiny tube connecting my sinuses to my ears. I got a referral for the ENT docotor (hallejuah), bought some Flonase and a referral for physical therapy. No exact answers but I will try anything. One step closer to solving my issues. Hopefully

Flonase is a nasal spray primarily used to treat symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis, including:
Nasal congestion
Sneezing
Runny or itchy nose
Itchy or watery eyes. It contains fluticasone propionate, a corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation in the nasal passages. Flonase can also be used for non allergic rhinitis and may help alleviate symptoms associated with nasal polyps.

I’ve used it off and on for many years.

Cerebellar dizziness is sometimes confused with inner ear vertigo and it is possible to have both. Have you ever had a consult with a neurologist ?

Did they try to see if the little stones in I your inner ears need resetting. There is an easy procedure to try.

Epley Maneuver - Exercises for Vertigo - ENT Clinic
Canalith repositioning procedure - Mayo Clinic
To treat vertigo from inner ear crystals (BPPV), the main procedure is the Epley Maneuver, a series of specific head and body tilts that guide the calcium crystals out of the semicircular canals and into a quiet part of the inner ear, providing rapid relief for most people, though it's best done after a healthcare provider shows you the proper technique to avoid worsening symptoms.

Good luck. Hope they find it soon.
That’s why medicine is a practice. All about test and elimination.

I didn't know; I hope you can get this resolved.

Have you tried the exercises for BPV. You can find them online. There are a couple different strategies

@Just4fun I have but it doesn't work for me. But I could be doing it wrong
Just4fun · 51-55, M
@LadyGemini there are a few different options just thought it might be worth a shot
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@LadyGemini It is very difficult to do the Epley without help. Perhaps that is why the physician suggested going to PT. They should check your hearing though to be sure there isn't something else as well.

It’s a start

Hopefully some answers will be coming
