Have You Ever Dozed Off While Having An MRI?

I have not for an mri ... Yet ... but I've been in them and it's only a matter of time. The noise wouldn't stop me, I've gotten used to sleeping with lots of noise. Reading what you wrote, sounds just like me... all of it. I have fallen asleep in the dentist's chair so many times, I've lost count over the years.

How!?
I've only ever had them on my head. Three times as they've monitored symptoms. I'm claustrophobic and the noise like someone has a bucket of hammers next to you. They pipe music into the headphones but to little purpose as the infernal noise never stops.

I clasped that panic button throughout took all my will not to push it.


As you can tell not the most relaxing experience 😂😂😂. Christ knows what they made of the results 😂

No the only time I fell asleep was during a sleep deprived EEG but that was because I had to stay awake for 24 hours for it so it really wasn't that difficult for me to fall asleep during it lol

I almost did during one. The tech played Minecraft-esque music for me and the pauses between holding my breath had gotten longer. I felt I could’ve.

It is easy to fall asleep in the dentist's chair. I have done that before. 🎃

I find them relaxing! I have almost fallen asleep a couple times!

I have only ever had one and it was way too quick to dose off.

It's very relaxing. You are forced to lie so still...and they do give you ear plugs...☺

An MRI tech told me one guy came in with a gold Prince Albert! 😵‍💫

He didn't doze off! 😱

You must have been tired lol. The noise of those things is like being inside a washing machine on spin cycle 🤣
