I swear to God there needs to be paid medical leave for menstrual cycles

I was told we have that, it's sick days and we all get the same amount to use it wisely. If we run out of sick days we can use our vacation time.

I know that small businesses don't have it though, they have different challenges than large corporations.

I am 100% with you on that. It's BS I wish I could put people in my body so they could see how F'd up it really is during that time

So, supposedly, that was the original reason for sick leave. I don't know how true that is though

I would take it paid or unpaid. Damn the body needs to rest during all that.
