I wish I knew what a heart attack feels like.

I have a chest pain that was rather uncomfortable for an hour.
It has eased off now to be almost non existent.
The pain was a band across my chest almost in line with the middle of my heart.
No other symptoms.
When I press on the area it feels like it would if there was bruising there.
I have done nothing to cause this bruising like pain.
More so on the side of my left ribs.
No, I am not going to ring for an ambulance (typical male).
It is 11.30 pm Saturday.

Went to the Doctor today.
Very high blood pressure at 167/82.
The cause of my chest pain.
Initial medication Zinopril and lifestyle changes.

@Gusman that is high ( the top reading anyway).I’ve been on BP medication for 18 years after getting readings that were higher than that.
I was told I was at serious risk of heart attack or stroke.

Now it’s usually in the normal to high normal range.

Everyone should get their BP checked regularly.
I have a home monitor.

Looks like lifestyle changes need to come to the fore. 🙁

@Gusman Its great to see you caught it. I am also on a couple of pills for that. You will be fine as long as you take the pills..😷
