I sense a bit of sarcasm sprinkled in at the end? A bunch of us starting to rub off on you me thinks. 🤔
Anyways I hope this is what helps, getting dialed in and feeling better. Bud.

I do know someone who has had ablations for afib, and it does not sound like it was a terrible experience. For whatever that is worth.
I understand why you're stressing about this. However, the doctor could have simply brushed it off by saying "All this stuff is in your mind. You need to just calm down." But your medicine is being increased, and you have something to take when needed.
@Cigarguy Ask other heart surgery patients about their experiences, their preparations, their recovery process and how they handled it. I think you'll find the better the state of mind the better the surgery and recovery.

@onrealityofdreams I will hopefully the meds change will help and I won't need it
@Cigarguy I hope that's the case too.

I’ve had it done and could kick myself for not doing it sooner while experiencing with meds and dosages. Kind of out in the wilderness now but will answer a PM as soon as I can if you have questions.

@SageWanderer it might be a good thing for me the more I read about it. My HR is always high so I'd probably feel a lot better getting it done
