Doctor's appointment could of been better

So after looking over the last 2 test I've done my doctor wasn't happy. My heart rate is still high. He's upping my heart medication and adding another dose during the day. He's also added a fast acting PRN for me to take when I need it.
We're going to try this for a month and see if this helps. If it does he's going to look into me having heart surgery and getting a catheter ablation done in the near future.

So that sounds super fun and I'm not stressing over that news at all.

I understand why you're stressing about this. However, the doctor could have simply brushed it off by saying "All this stuff is in your mind. You need to just calm down." But your medicine is being increased, and you have something to take when needed.

@onrealityofdreams that is true my heart doctor is very good. I just don't like the idea of heart surgery. And I worry about the recovery time too

@Cigarguy Ask other heart surgery patients about their experiences, their preparations, their recovery process and how they handled it. I think you'll find the better the state of mind the better the surgery and recovery.
