I had to leave the 3rd ex. He was VERY bad for my mental health, and...all the gas cans he was storing in the basement, (and the fumes from same), would not have been good for my physical health. Can you say BBQ?

He was furious when the girl I hired to help me pack, and I, carried all the gas cans out to the driveway and left them there. He said, "What if the neighbors see them?"

Worrying about things I cannot change. I can only change how I react to people and to things.

Some of my former co-workers. I kept reaching out and they didn't reach back. I was making all the efforts. It grew old fast. So less friends who were acquaintances.

Spending time with my closest friend. He tends to be overly doomy. And very OCD in his life habits. So I spend less time with him. I confront him on his behaviour. I set limits. Boundaries. And I uphold them.

My son. He is estranged from me. It is his choice. He is an adult and can live his life however he wants. It is disappointing as he is my only child. But that is life. He will come to regret his choices in time. And I cannot have him in my life. He simply doesn't deserve to be in it. Perhaps someday he will change his mind.
