My son, Robert, really needs prayer, please, if you're a praying person.
My son has been keeping from me, so as not to worry me, that his heart is really bad. They've done every test you can think of, and he needs an operation now, not later. The valve in his heart is not working the way it's supposed to. It has been discovered that he had a heart valve defect from birth and we didn't know it, as it's just now causing problems. He has sleep apnea due to his heart problems and he has to wear a mask at night or he stops breathing.
Every time his heart beats, blood spurts out in all directions where it's not supposed to go. I just found out that he had to quit his job because of this. It's really hard on his body and tiring him out. My daughter-in-law said when she's sleeping next to him or sitting by him on the couch, she can hear his heart beating so hard, struggling to work right. So this is an operation one shouldn't put off, but they are, and this is why I'm upset.
Knowing how bad his heart is, what kind of doctor in his right mind, would tell him that he may want to wait for the operation, because if he has it now, then he MIGHT have to have another one, a few years down the line. Common sense will tell a person to get this fixed right away, not put it off, and especially a doctor!
I'm really upset over this, because my son and daughter-in-law can't seem to see the urgency for this operation, as they've been putting it off for quite some time, since listening to that doctor. So please pray about that. Pray that God will change their minds to see he needs this operation now. And please pray that God will help my son adjust to the fact that he has to have this heart operation, and that he will come out okay. Thank you so much.
HERE'S MY BABIES. Aren't they beautiful? I love them so much. This picture is kind of old, but I did want you to see them. I see I'm getting lots of support and prayers and I just cannot thank you enough. I am so grateful and overwhelmed by your love, support and prayers, I am in tears. With God in your prayers, how could this turn out any other way but good. A huge thanks to each and every one of you that took the time to respond and show your support.
Prayer for Robert Lord our God Our Rock and Redeemer Our Father, Our Maker Our Creator and Designer
Your word says we can always ask for Wisdom That You will give it. In the name of your beautiful son I ask for Wisdom In the lives of your daughter Grace and her children.
The heart of her son is like mine once was It doesn’t beat the way it was designed His blood does not flow as intended His body does not function correctly.
Six years ago you saved my life With a battery and two wires I did not know what I should have done Despite my foolishness you saved my life
There are many voices in our lives, Abba Many trains and schools of thought Different strings pull us in many directions All of us see things from different angles
You see it all. You know the right moves At which times they should be made. You know all things.
I ask Your guidance in these lives, Abba Speak through dreams and scripture and advice Speak through ways only you can Undeniable and certain
Heal my brother, Abba. Guide the surgeons’ hands. Guide their minds and those of these three children To heal his body for Your names sake All to glorify the name of Yah, Most High
In the name of Jesus I approach You In His name I ask this of You In His name I ask forgiveness of all our sin In the name of Jesus I pray
Lord our God, our Father in Heaven May the words of my mouth And the meditations of my heart Be pleasing in your sight, Lord God my rock and Redeemer
@SW-User yes, I like to pray out loud as well. It doesn't hurt one thing to pray in silence but I do like to pray out loud and speak the person's name when I'm praying for them. Very good. Much appreciated.
so so sad 😔 then our doctor's negligence will make it even worse, such a sweet family so lovable, all my prayers n positive wishes for your son ma'am 🙇♀️ he seems like such a happy, strong, positive going intelligent young man , may almighty bless him in abundance ☘️✨🌸
@SethGreene531 Love you, brother. Everything will be alright. There are always times that all believers at one time or another, experience a little fear. We wouldn't be human if we didn't, and that's okay. It's only when we allow fear to get the best of us, that it really hurts us, because then we're not depending and trusting in God like we should. The Bible says that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of love and the sound mind, and that's exactly what he does when we keep our minds stayed on him. We don't want our mind to linger and dream off in a direction of idol thoughts, because that's when Satan can come in and remind us of all the things that hurt us, or have hurt, us in the past. But God keeps our hearts and Minds and perfect peace , that is His promise in His Word, that when we keep our mind stayed on him, instead of our problems, His Spirit will give us perfect peace.
We can counteract fear and bad thoughts, by reading our Bible more often and praying and just fellowshipping with the Lord, talking to Him, as he is our best friend and we know for a fact that God is trustworthy. Things always work out, notice that? We can pray to God and I have never known a time when God did not take care of things. Things always work out when we just pray to the Lord and let him take it from there. That's truly showing trust. He always knows what's best for us, so whether he answers our prayers the way we thought he would or not, we can be guaranteed and joyous, that we know he worked them out in a way that is best for us because he loves us and also because he always has our best interest at heart. So either way, we're good. He'll never do anything to hurt us, so we can rest assured that he will take us under wing and hold us and assure us, in his heart. His timing is not our timing, and we don't want to get ahead of him, so we patiently wait for him to answer our prayers, with the assurance that God will take care of everything and he always does, if you'll notice. Anyway you look at it, we're winners in Christ. And yes, always feel free to write, if you need to talk. ❤🙏🤗
Prayers for wisdom, guidance and faith for all y’all. Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
@GJOFJ3 That is absolutely one of my most favorite prayers. It never fails to give me the greatest strength in difficult times. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You could have not picked a better scripture verse. ❤🙏🤗
@LadyGrace I think waterproof markers are better, even sometimes I write with pens and it lasts for a longtime, also sometimes I use nail polish and it stays like forever
I live in a hostel these days so I don't have much options, it's not a cup but I put my name on it with a whitener and it's still there, though if I wash with hot water it may go away 🙇♀️
@ineedadrink Absolutely! You would think this would be the first thing they should do. I told him he needs to get another doctor but I don't know if that's possible in their area. Maybe they're already going to one that is the best but I agree, there's always others out there and I'm sure there's other doctors at another hospital that could help and at least give him a second opinion. I think he should go to St Louis University where they've got the smartest doctors. I'm working on this with him. Thank you so much.
@Canuckle At this point I'm not sure what he's going to decide. Yes Healthcare is a real concern and I'm not sure what he has in that area. I haven't gotten a chance to talk to him about that. I'm careful how I approach him on these things because this is a very traumatic time and his life. As far as I know he's got good health insurance. That's something they just would not ignore but I'm not sure what kind.
@Virgo79 thank you so much. I'm so overwhelmed with people saying they will pray for me and my family and especially my son, I am in tears with gratitude. ❤❤🌹🌹🤗🤗🙏🙏😘😘😘
@LadyJ I am Miss LadyJ. Thank you. I believe nothing is impossible for God to do. I love that show with Richard Thomas called It's A Miracle. Ever see that? I believe in miracles. I've seen them firsthand.
@olderuncle944 His sister has tried to talk to him, but I think he's too scared to even consider it. I'm really upset with his so-called "doctor" who told him he could wait, in his reason was just ludicrous. I could just strangle him. Any physician with any sense, would know that this is something that is not going to improve on its own, and the sooner done, the better. It's just wearing him out. And other parts of his body are suffering because of it. When you're setting so close to someone that you can hear their heart pounding with each beat, it's time to take action!
@olderuncle944 What upsets me, is that I bet if this was the doctor's son, he would have done it right away, without delay. But because of the flimsy reason that after he has the operation, the doctor said it MAY need to be done again, that caused Robert and his wife to decide that they will wait. And you can check it out anywhere. Every place I've searched says this is something that cannot wait and is an emergency.
