Doctor's appointment today. Waste of time

So i was finally able to get to my doctor today. My appointment was for 145pm. I show up 30 minutes early. I sit in the waiting room until 215. They finally called me back. The nurse does her check up on me and asks why im here. I tell her about my issues with new tics, my headaches and my sleep issues. I also tell her about my er visit and the high heart rate and blood pressure. She looks at and nods. She leaves the room. Mind you my outbursts where pretty bad. Im stressed, tired, hungry and now running late. Not a good combo. She returns at 245 and says the doctor is running late and will be with me soon.
315pm. Still waiting to be seen. I have to pick the kids up by 415.
The doctor finally enters the room and says its best if i reschedule because hes running way behind. They weren't expecting me to have more then one health issues and next time inneed to request extra time so they can cover all my issues. I ask him if he can give me something to help me at least sleep. He says not without a full exam.
So why is it may fault. I got their early. I told them when i scheduled the appointment all my issues. He also asks me to leave because im making the nurses and patients uncomfortable yelling. But hey i don't have to pay my Co pay next time i go back. So theres that.

You shouldn't have lost your cool. It never helps the situation.

Even though you make an appointment for a time doesn't mean the Doctor can't be called away for an emergency.

Also you get the other patients who don't know how to make an appointment. Take a 5 minute one and stay for 40 minutes.
These were the kind of patients that annoyed me the most when I worked in Reception for a Doctors practice.
Or they'd make the appointment for themselves but have a family member with them and try to sneak them in too. thinking they'll only get changed the one visit.

@Thevy29 I am a retired physician, yes, I may have had times when I had to attend to an emergency, but this story is beyond what should ever be the way a practice is run. When he made the appointment, I am sure he told the appointment person why he was coming in. They should have scheduled him appropriately.
@samueltyler2 i didn't loose my cool i have tourettes symptoms and outbursts. My doctor is aware of this. I can't control them. They have gotten worse and that is one of the reason i made the appointment
I also told them i was having a few issues when i made the appointment.

@Cigarguy101 that is exactly why I said what they did was inappropriate. I know that physicians today demand a better work-life balance than I had during my 50 years of work/practice. But, I would have stretched my day to accommodate you, not simply told you to make another appointment. My family knew that my patients were very important to me.

@Cigarguy101 you have no skills to deal with the symptoms, outbursts? It's not about meds completely. You probably could have given yourself a time out and walked outside for 10.
@samueltyler2 i wish more doctors where like you.
@SW-User the lack of control was one of the reason i went to the doctor in the first place.

@Cigarguy101 I know, but I bet you could have a plan for these situations if you need one.. It might help for that moment.
It's tough when things are out of your control and you need some help.
