Im sorry to hear, I broke mine in 2020 had to have surgery and a plate put in. I understand your pain. I hope its not to serious and that you make a speedy recovery.

@Sutten I’ve never had to have surgery but injured it many times. I can only imagine the hell of heaving to get surgery

Bad ankle sprains from running and they can be really painful. Physical therapy helped.

ICE - Ice, compression, elevation.

NO heat packs.

Get it checked; this is a notoriously tricky and sensitive area, where simple injuries can end up lasting months and years if not treated correctly. Feel better, get some pain meds onboard and don't walk!

Ouch… I rolled mine and also fractured it back in June. I know your pain all too well. I hope you’re at least able to recover quicker than I do. Sorry for your situation though. 😔

Rest the ankle and don’t walk or put weight on it
Ice the area to reduce swelling
Elevate the foot above the waist or heart
Compress the ankle to support the injury and control swelling
Hubby to massage neck, shoulders & back every 4 hours
