@Condiment People love complacency. It makes them secure, and for some, makes them feel special. Ignoring a problem does not make it better.
I think what people mean is that it is ok to experience things that aren't happiness or contentment. It is validating ones feelings and actually encouraging them to recognise them which is the first step in taking action and addressing them. And part of the healing process is to sometimes fully experience those emotions

@PepsiColaP Same thing I'm saying, you can acknowledge something is wrong, but too many pretend it's a good thing. I'm just one voice, though, and only one opinion.

That’s ok whatever works for you
It’s something that helped me personally.
It’s something that helped me personally.
It depends on how it's used
We are human, we have our ups and downs and when having a down time don't kick yourself for thinking you failed, it's ok not to be ok.
It is really impossible to be happy all the time, there are down times.
It's ok, we all have down times, accept it and work at ways to get back up.

I understand what you’re saying. Unfortunately,
It's not okay to be not okay
is not a new attitude, it’s an old one. And when it was the prevailing belief, people hid their problems rather than trying to fix them.
